Systems Infrastructure – Computer & Server Hardware

What is Server Hardware?

Computer hardware refers to the physical components of your computer system; all the mechanical and electronic pieces that make up your server or personal computer (PC.) This includes parts such as the motherboard (the mainframe of your computer), the central processing unit (often referred to as the brains of your computer, doing the calculations that enable the computer to function), removable media devices, data storage and other more familiar components such as your monitor, power source and tower.
